The Institute of Diagram studies is an independent structure for research and creative practice stretching from graphic design to software development and media theory. The institute deploys the language of diagrams to read existing systems (algorithmic, technical, political) and to write new ones in the form of publications, software, visualisations, etc.
The Institute is operated by David Benqué, a designer and researcher based in Cork, Ireland with a PhD from the Royal College of Art in London, UK.
